There are three formal application cycles:
 

Upcoming Open House Dates:

Catholic Schools Week Open House- January 28, 2018, from 11:30 - 1:00 p.m.

Spring Open House - April 17, 2018, from 10:00-11:30 a.m.

The general process of applying begins with the submission of the application form, the application fee (refer to the Documentation and Fee Schedule), and a meeting with the Director of Admissions and the Principal. Prospective families receive a tour of the school.

Once the application form, the application fee, and transcripts (for grades one through eight) are received you will be contacted to schedule your child’s screening or visiting day and entrance exam.

The details of applying to St. Aloysius School vary depending on the grade level.

Early Decision

  • Applications for kindergarten early admission decision must be submitted by November 2, 2017.
  • Applications for grades 1 – 8 early admission decision must be submitted by November 2, 2017.

Screenings for kindergarten early admission will be conducted on various days starting November 2, 2017 through mid-January 2018.

Visiting days and entrance exams for grades 1-8 early admission decision will be conducted during November 2017 through January 2018.

General and Rolling Admission

General Admission applications are due by February 16, 2018 for all grades.

Kindergarten screenings will take place in February 2018.

Visiting days and entrance exams for grades 1-8 will be mid-February through mid-March 2018.

Rolling Admission continues throughout the year, as space is available, and screenings will continue throughout the year.

 

Admission Open House

The Open Houses are an event for the entire family. It is an important experience for the applicant child to visit the classroom and meet the teacher. Open House presentations include an overview of admissions and the application process, an overview of the academic program for kindergarten through grade 8 including a discussion of the curriculum and values-based standards characteristic of a St. Aloysius School education. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet St. Aloysius School faculty, administration and students.

St. A parents and students conduct all tours during the Open Houses.

Admission Decision Notification:

  • Early Admission Decision letters are mailed late January 2018.
  • General Admission Decision letters are mailed mid-March 2018.

Enrollment Contracts:

  • All Registration Forms are due with $100 registration fee per child by February 15.
  • On or before May 15, submit 10% Tuition Commitment Deposit along with a signed Parish Certification and the Signed Tuition Agreement.
  • As part of the enrollment process, families are to enroll online with FACTS, the school’s financial management system.
