As a parent of a St. Aloysius School student(s), you are automatically a member of the Home-School Association (HSA).  The HSA has board members consisting of president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, director of events, director of enrichment, head room moms and church-school liaison. You, together with the members of the board, are the voice of the St. Aloysius School families. The HSA serves to promote goodwill and cooperation between and among parents, faculty and administration. Together, we strive for the well-being of each and every student. The Home-School Association is also responsible for organizing parents to arrange social events and fundraising efforts to ensure the continued success of our school.

Each St. Aloysius family has a unique opportunity to help our school achieve excellence through various volunteer opportunities. The events/projects available at St. Aloysius enrich our school community in many ways. The activities provide a fun and social setting, allowing for new relationships to form and old ones to flourish.  A few events provide financial support to our teachers and school, and others allow our children to build on their love of sports and/or reading.  All talents great and small have helped us maintain and even grow these successful events. Thanks to our parents, we have a wide range of activities for you to choose as your volunteering efforts this scholastic year.

There is a general HSA meeting held every other month, when various topics are discussed such as: principal announcements, Angel Fund updates and upcoming school events.  These meetings are also a great opportunity to ask questions regarding the students and the school.  We strongly encourage attendance at these meetings because it is a great way to stay involved and informed of all the happenings of St. Aloysius School.

New Canaan cares is an outstanding local organization that provides a multitude of resources and related events for parents, youth and the general community in the New Canaan area. They are sponsoring our HSA meetings this year and identifying speakers to make presentations during our quarterly HSA on helpful and relevant parenting topics.
